What is the communication speed/baud rate of the SlimLine?

Each connected serial device can communicate at baud rates of up to 200 Kbps full duplex.

How many ports can a single SlimLine support?

The SlimLine can support up to 64 ports, 96 login sessions and up to 36 PPP/SLIP connections.

What are some of the security and configuration features of the SlimLine?

Users can be automatically logged onto a specific host, offered a menu of host connections, or given access to the menu & shell.  If desired, passwords can be defined for specific users and for administrators.

What type of serial devices does the SlimLine support?

The SlimLine supports all standard RS-232/422 serial devices since as terminals, printers, modems, bar code scanners and other POS equipment.

How many login sessions can one user run?

A resident multi-session manager allows each user to run up to 8 login sessions and “hot-key” from one session to the next.
